    To whom it may concern,

My name is Jordan Flaten. I was born and raised in North Dakota. I have a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from NDSU and now attending Rebecca Haggerty's histology program in Lakewood, Washington. I am a current member of the the MSH and Washington State Histology Society. The reason I am writing today is because of my surprise to find out that my home state of North Dakota does not have a histology society. This surprises me because UND offers a histology program. Currently, Bekki and I are working together with Sanford to start a partnership. I was informed by the lab supervisor at Sanford that they have never done a histology internship. In addition to returning home early than excepted, I am hoping that this internship will create awareness and begin the talk of possibly forming a histology society in North Dakota. I am assuming that I am not the first person to bring u this topic, so if anyone has more information that would be helpful, please post a comment!

Hello Jordan, I am sorry I didn't see your post sooner, I've been out of state and missed this. I will forward your comments to Region V Director Judi Stasko as North Dakota is part of our NSH Region.
